Welcome to the restored 1912 "Smith/Perry Boarding House"
Save 1900 fully restored the 1912 boarding house in 2023 for their show "Restoring Galveston - The Inn"
The 25 room house was converted into a 12 room Boutique Hotel now named "The Mansard House" as an ode back to the buildings unique construction.
All rooms have been renovated and outfitted with modern amenities and curated design. Throughout the hotel is splashed with history and news articles from the past.

No matter the time of year it is always "high season" at The Mansard House. With a heated pool and plenty of room to relax it's never a bad time to visit Galveston.
Our Private Cabanas are the perfect way to enjoy the shade with additional privacy, you can rent these during your stay!

Heading to the Beach before your dip in the pool? Our front gate entrance offers a beach shower for you to rinse those sandy feet before jumping in. Catch a Sunset while you sit by the fire pit and take a load off your feet.

Our lounge is the perfect spot to relax after a long day by the pool or at the beach. Meet up with friends at the hotel or make new ones.
If you rent out the whole hotel, this is also a spot where a bar/bartender can be set up to serve drinks. Currently this is not a stocked/ open to guests bar.

Only if you want to. Our Gym is located in the front of the hotel and is available for your personal use during your stay. The windows provide a nice natural light with a great view to our side deck and outdoor area.
