Is the Hotel Accessible? 

Yes! The Mansard House has ramp access on the Northside entrance. Handicap parking is by ramp. We have one wheelchair accessible room with a TRANSFER shower. We also have one separate hearing impaired room. First floor is fully common spaces are also accessible. There is no elevator. 

What is the Age to Book? 

All occupants must be 25+ to stay at The Mansard House.

What is the MAX Occupancy?

Two Guests per room!

Is the Bar Open? 

Our Bar area is more of a lounge space for guests to relax, eat breakfast, read or work. If booking the whole hotel, you may provide your own bartender for the space.

Is Breakfast Provided?

In the Lounge, from 8am-10am, there will be Yogurts and Fruit stocked in the fridge as well as Bagels (from Galveston Bagel Company)

What Temperature is the Pool Heated?

During the cold seasons, our pool is heated to 86 degrees. Keep in mind, this isn’t a hot tub, but will be warm/comfy enough to enjoy.

Can I use the amenities/pool before check-in or after checkout?

Amenities use starts at 4pm on check in date. On checkout date you can use amenities until the 4pm check in time of next guests. You do lose your room but we have a common bathroom downstairs.

Which Rooms Face the Pool?

Rooms 12, 22, 23, 32, 33, and 34 all have pool views. 

Is there a Regular Cleaning/Pick Up of room daily during my stay?

Extra towels are available if you need them, but we do not clean mid stay. Please let us know if you'd like extra cleaning during your stay for an additional fee.

Is there an Open Kitchen?

There is no open kitchen for room service. We do have light breakfast in the lounge from 8-10am: provided complimentary.

Can I Bring My Own Alcohol?

Yes, we ask that everyone be courteous of other hotel guests when drinking and drink responsibly. The Hotel is also within walking distance to many great restaurants.

Do the Rooms have Cable?

Our Rooms have Smart TVs where you can log into any apps you have. Roku TV is provided in all rooms to watch some live tv and movies.

Can I Rent the Whole Hotel?

Yes. All 12 Rooms can be booked with a max of 24 guests. Contact us at TheMansardHouse@gmail.com to inquire.

Can I Book an Event at the Hotel?

Is the Hotel Pet Friendly?

Sorry, the hotel is not pet friendly.

How Do I Cancel?

Please respond to your booking confirmation, or shoot us an email to cancel. 100% of prepayments made are refundable if canceled 5 days before arrival. 0% refundable if canceled after. IF the room gets a booking replacement, we will happily refund all prepayments.
